Was there support along the way?
Thanks Village Bike for a great and well marked route (and nice signs SamF.). Water stops were found along the way(thanks Monadnock Water and Lees Market of Westport for the supplies) and service vans were checking the route to assist in case of trouble(thanks Village Bike). And thanks Alert Ambulance and Response Ambulance for cruising the routes watching out for the riders miles out in the woods.

The cover band Let's Find Lenny was there for the return.
And they didn't forget their pledge:
"And hey, don't forget our pledge to you...we'll keep you dancing! --LFL"

Sam Ferreira and his crew were there cooking for and serving the returning riders. Buzzards Bay Brewing/Westport Winery and Monadnock Water were there for the beverages. Thanks Citizens~Union Employees for the ice (it wouldnt have been too good without it). The Salter School Group was there set up with  massages for the returning riders. Thanks ABC Rental for the Moonwalk and Allied Waste for the cleanup.

The Friends of Saint Anne's and the Junior Friends were there in force from preparation, to set up, to registration, to checkout, to checkin. They manned the tables and did all the behind the scene things that have to get done to make an undertaking of this magnitude a success. and Thanks Dunkin Donuts and Moose Cafe for taking care of them. Thanks Maggy Biszko and Janis Karam for handling the lottery tree and baskets in the raffle, and of course the Junior Friends for carrying it through.

And thanks to all who came through with the "little things" when that last minute call came your way. Without that help it couldn't have worked out this well.

A statement from the challenge chair

Dear Friend,
We all know someone who has been affected by cancer, but may not be sure how we can help.

Now is your chance to make a difference in the lives of local people who depend on the Hudner Oncology Center at St.Annes Hospital for expert cancer care.

Please join us on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the Friends of St.Annes Bike Challenge.

All funds raised will help the Center continue in its technological advances and quality cancer care for patients throughout the Greater Fall River area.

We hope to see you there!
